A soulful yet fun weekend watch for Gujarati movie lovers. Aruna Irani and Jagesh Mukati do justice to their roles. When it comes to performances, Siddharth Randeria makes sure to give something more memorable that goes beyond his Gujjubhai appeal - we love to see him mimicking Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar to give that total filmy edge, Aarohi in her vivacious bubbly role of Ketki is fun to watch and Yash Soni undergoes a transformation in the movie as he effortlessly plays the role of a workaholic professional changing into someone enjoying the trip with his father and thereby discovering the nuances of life. Sachin-Jigar and Niren Bhatt win the hearts yet again with some melodious renditions especially ‘Chaand Ne Kaho’ by Jigardan Gadhavi and ‘Pa Pa Pagli’ sung by Sonu Nigam. The production quality is certainly praiseworthy. We must say Uttarakhand plays an important character in the movie with its beautiful landscapes adding a breath of fresh air.
